The book begins with a discussion of memory assessment in clinical practice, covering the assessment of specific memory deficits and memory test batteries. This is followed by separate chapters on memory deficits caused by cerebrovascular disease, cerebral tumors, penetrating and blunt head injuries, dementia, infections of the central nervous system, chronic toxic or deficiency states, epilepsy, and ablation/disconnection of cerebral tissue.
